Mexican Grilled Sandwich Recipe


Mexican Grilled Sandwich

 

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Ingredients:-
Bread slices - 12
Amul butter - 3 tbsp
Onion – 1 (chopped)
Tomato – 1 (chopped)
Potato – 1 (boiled & chopped)
Green chilies – 1or 2 (chopped finely)
Boiled corn - 1 cup
Grated cheese - 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Tomato sauce - 2 tbsp
Chili sauce - 2 tbsp
White sauce - 1 cup

 For white sauce:
 Milk- 1 cup
Amul butter - 1 tbsp
 

How to make a Mexican grilled sandwich:-

·         For making white sauce:-

·         Heat 1 tbsp butter in a pan. Add Maida and fry lightly.

·         Add milk and stir till it becomes like a sauce.

·         For preparing the sandwiches:-

·         Mix together the chopped onions, tomatoes, potatoes, green chilies, boiled corn, half cheese, salt and pepper.

·         Lightly toast the bread slices and apply butter on one side only.

·         Spread the white sauce and vegetable mixture on the buttered side.

·         Put the remaining grated cheese on top.

·         Sprinkle tomatoes and chili sauce and bake at 350 degree F or 160 degree C for ten minutes or till cheese melts.

·         Serve with wafers and mint chutney.
